Travel has always been at the heart of my existence. I enjoy experiencing new places and cultures as a form of inspiration that comes in many ways. I enjoy exploring cities on morning runs or experiencing landscapes while hiking. I am inspired by the vast scale and stark beauty of the desert that surrounds me. Reading, researching and studying history, culture, art and architecture have always given me new perspectives and connections to other people and places. Sketching allows me to explore and express ideas that I would normally not be able to convey through words. Photography has been a medium that I often use to capture the grain of a city or the essence of a moment that become kernels of inspiration for me in my work.
